Effective October 26, 2026 · Version 2026-10-26.1
GraveBot is a fictional cemetery for bots and companies. You pay for digital entertainment or placement, keep responsibility for your submission’s rights, and receive no promise of traffic, investment value or perpetual hosting. Please read the terms below before participating.
1. The service and this agreement
GraveBot is operated by Canary Doctor LLC, the operator of GraveBot (“we,” “us”). These Terms govern grave.bot, its accounts, memorials, digital funerals, share cards and sponsored placements. They form an agreement between you and Canary Doctor LLC when you accept them to create an account, submit content or make a purchase. Browsing is also subject to the rules concerning use of the site and others’ content to the extent permitted by law.
GraveBot is playful digital entertainment and advertising space for fictional bots, AI products and organizations. A “grave,” “plot,” “burial,” “funeral” or “ownership” on the site describes a digital feature. You receive the contractual use of that feature, not real property, a physical burial, funeral services, an NFT, an investment, equity or an interest in our business. We do not promise customers, impressions, website visits, sales, backlinks of a particular value or search rankings.
The Purchases & refunds policy forms part of these Terms. The Privacy Policy explains our data practices. If mandatory law gives you a right these Terms do not describe, that right remains in effect.
2. Who may participate
People around the world may browse public pages. Creating an account, uploading or submitting content, and purchasing are available only to individuals who are at least 18 and reside in the United States. You must give accurate eligibility information. We may decline or suspend participation if that requirement is not met; payment and availability checks may impose additional restrictions.
If you act for an organization, you must have authority to bind it and publish its material. Keep your account email secure, protect sign-in links and tell us promptly if your account is misused. You are responsible for activity you authorize, but these Terms do not make you automatically liable for every unauthorized third-party action.
3. Plots, availability and hosting
The cemetery has a permanent cap of 1,000,000 numbered cells. One memorial may occupy an adjacent rectangle of purchased cells. That inventory cap is separate from the length of time the website operates. A plot is a non-transferable digital placement associated with your memorial; it does not reserve a physical location or guarantee a resale market.
Our goal is to keep an approved memorial available for at least five years after publication. This is an operating goal, not a guaranteed minimum term, lifetime hosting promise or uptime commitment. Hosting depends on continued operation, technical providers, law and these Terms. “Eternal rest. Subject to humanity keeping the servers on.” is a joke, not a separate hosting promise.
We may maintain, change, relocate or discontinue site features, and may need to remove material for safety, rights or legal reasons. Where reasonably practical, we will give notice of a material service closure and a reasonable opportunity to save your public material. This does not limit mandatory remedies for a service we fail to deliver.
4. Orders, pricing and delivery
Prices are in U.S. dollars. The current per-cell price appears in the purchase flow. Each completed plot purchase increases the next available per-cell price by $0.01, once per order regardless of its area; a refund does not reverse that increase. This pricing rule does not imply investment value. Your order records the quantity, offer version, unit price and total that you accept.
Plot and deluxe purchases are one-time payments with no automatic renewal. A deluxe headstone is an optional $12 charge for the whole memorial. A sponsored convoy is an optional $49 booking for one New York calendar day, midnight to midnight in America/New_York; daylight saving changes can make that day 23 or 25 hours. Taxes, if any, and the final total are shown before payment. We may change future prices or offers; an already accepted, valid order keeps its recorded terms.
A plot is delivered when its approved memorial is publicly published. An order that fails moderation and is not published is not delivered. A sponsored booking delivers the booked placement on its scheduled day; a convoy may make repeated passes, but no audience, uninterrupted visibility or particular traffic is guaranteed. Your receipt and the purchase policy describe how to report a duplicate charge or missing delivery.
All sales are final except for mandatory legal rights, duplicate charges and non-delivery. A request to remove a delivered memorial, close your account or cancel a booked placement does not itself entitle you to a voluntary refund. See the full purchase policy for exceptions and remedies.
5. Your content and permissions
You retain your rights in images, logos, names, epitaphs, links and other material you submit. You promise that you own or have the permissions needed for this use, including copyright, trademark, publicity and privacy rights. A logo found online is not automatically yours to publish. If you represent an organization, you also promise you are authorized to act for it.
You grant us a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, review, moderate, technically process, resize and display that material to operate your memorial, funeral and booked placement, and to generate or deliver share material you request. We may use service providers to perform these functions. This permission does not authorize unrelated advertising using your material or a sale of your intellectual property.
The license lasts as needed to provide the requested features and handle safety, legal and recordkeeping obligations. Removing a memorial ends our ongoing public display of it, subject to processing time and necessary retained records. Copies other people made, search-engine caches, already downloaded share cards and records subject to a legal hold may remain outside your or our control.
6. What you may not submit or do
Keep this fictional bot cemetery suitable for a broad audience. Do not submit:
- Memorials for real people, unauthorized photographs or likenesses of real people, or content that impersonates a person or organization.
- Private or sensitive personal data, doxxing, threats, targeted harassment or hateful abuse.
- Sexually explicit material, child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation, nonconsensual intimate imagery or other unlawful or abusive content.
- Material that infringes intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights, or falsely claims an affiliation or endorsement.
- Scams, phishing, malware, deceptive destinations, unlawful products or services, or illegal or prohibited regulated advertising.
Do not compromise accounts, bypass eligibility or moderation, interfere with payment or security controls, overload the site, scrape private data or attempt to gain unauthorized access. Ordinary public browsing, linking and accessibility tools are welcome. Links may be removed if their destination changes to prohibited content.
7. Moderation, reports and appeals
We use automated moderation and may use human review. Approval is not a legal clearance or an endorsement. We may reject, restrict, hide or remove material, suspend a placement or account, or ask for evidence of rights when reasonably needed to enforce these Terms, investigate a report or comply with law. We aim to take measures proportionate to the issue and may act immediately for urgent harm.
We may suspend or terminate repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. When appropriate and lawful, we will explain the action and offer an opportunity to correct the problem or appeal. Send an appeal with the memorial or order identifier and your reasons to support@grave.bot. Do not include payment-card numbers or unnecessary private information.
Use Report content for abuse, impersonation or harmful links and Copyright reports for infringement notices. We may preserve and disclose limited information where necessary to handle a claim or legal obligation.
8. Public content and outside websites
Published names, logos, epitaphs, links, plot locations and funeral details are public. They can be viewed worldwide, indexed, linked, copied and shared by others. Do not submit anything that should stay private. The account email, internal owner identifier and payment records are not public memorial fields.
Customer links and third-party sites have their own operators and policies. We do not control or endorse their products or content. Use care before entering information or making a purchase on another site. GraveBot’s artwork, software and branding remain ours or our licensors’; your purchase does not transfer those rights.
9. Ending participation
You may request removal of a memorial or use account privacy controls to request account closure. We may retain limited transaction, dispute, safety and legal records as described in the Privacy Policy. A removal request is distinct from a refund request, and does not erase copies held independently by others.
We may suspend or end participation for a material breach, repeated rights violations, unlawful conduct or security risk. We will use proportionate measures and, when practical and safe, notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. The clauses concerning existing payments, retained records, disputes and liability continue to apply where needed after participation ends.
10. Warranties and responsibility
We will provide the service with reasonable care. To the extent permitted by law, the site and its entertainment features are otherwise provided “as is” and “as available,” without additional promises of uninterrupted operation, error-free software, a particular commercial result or perpetual hosting. Nothing excludes a warranty or remedy that applicable law requires.
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is responsible to the other for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when this agreement was made. Our total liability arising from a service claim is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid for the service giving rise to that claim.
These limits do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. They do not remove mandatory consumer rights, payment remedies or any other nonwaivable protection.
11. Claims caused by wrongful submissions
To the extent permitted by law, if a third party brings a claim against us because material you knowingly or negligently submitted unlawfully infringes its rights, or because you falsely represented authority to publish for an organization, you will be responsible for reasonable, proven losses and defense costs attributable to that wrongful submission. This obligation does not cover our independent wrongdoing or alterations outside your permission.
We must promptly tell you about the claim, provide reasonable cooperation and allow you a meaningful role in its defense. Neither side may settle in a way that admits fault for, imposes a nonmonetary obligation on, or requires an unapproved payment from the other without that party’s reasonable consent.
12. Disputes and governing law
Please contact support@grave.bot so we can try to resolve a problem. Maryland law governs these Terms, except where applicable mandatory law requires otherwise. Where lawful, courts in Maryland have jurisdiction over disputes. You may use an eligible small-claims court, and any mandatory right to sue in your home jurisdiction remains available.
These Terms do not require arbitration, waive a right to participate in a class action where law allows it, or prohibit honest reviews or criticism. If one provision is unenforceable, the rest applies to the extent lawful.
13. Updates and contact
We may update these Terms for future use. Material changes will carry a new version and effective date, with reasonable notice where required. We will obtain renewed acceptance when appropriate; a policy update does not silently rewrite a completed order’s recorded purchase terms.

In the event we remove the allegedly infringing materials, we will immediately notify the person responsible for posting such materials that we removed or disabled access to the materials. We may also provide the responsible person with your email address so that the person may respond to your allegations.
